====== Screening Procedures ======

Preparation:
To become a versatile screener, please, first of all, carefully read the information on https://trr265.zih.tu-dresden.de/wiki/inf-projekt and watch the following tutorials located there:\\

  * all of the ORSEE clips

===== Making Screening Appointment =====

===== Conducting Telephone Screening =====

| 6.1     |             | IF the participants have registered on Orsee without talking to you first, login to Orsee in admin mode (use the ZIH account/password): https://zep.psych.tu-dresden.de/trr265/admin/  and check who needs to be imported to the ID-DB for screening ([[https://trr265.zih.tu-dresden.de/wiki/_media/wiki:orsee_termineinsicht_nehmen.mp4|video]])|
| 6.2     |             | Login to ID-DB (use the ZIH account/password): https://wayf.aai.dfn.de/DFN-AAI-Basic/wayf/www/WAYF.php and for all participants that shall undergo telephone screening:\\ - import the participant(s) from ORSEE\\ - generate and/or note the Participant ID\\ ([[ https://trr265.zih.tu-dresden.de/wiki/_media/wiki:participant_id_generieren.mp4 |video]]) |
| 7 | Provide information via the phone (& have their calendar ready ?) | Login to REDcap (use the ZIH account/password):  https://redcap.zih.tu-dresden.de/redcap/\\ - My projects -> Choose “TRR 265 Telephone Screening”\\ - Left bar: “Add/Edit records”\\ - Enter the Participant ID from the ID-DB & press ENTER\\ - CALL THE PARTICIPANT (if you were not on the line before)\\ - Click on the empty circles to enter information accordingly & set “Complete?” to “complete” when all required information has been entered.\\ - UNLESSS there is a reason to discontinue, just click on “Save & go to the next form” in the bottom right corner (progress can be seen in the left bar) |

| 9.1 | | If inclusion criteria are met, proceed to make study appointments (see below)|

===== Making Study Appointment =====

| 11   | Have their calendar ready and make appointments | Make and confirm the appointments as needed for your lab / project -> This will probably vary too much between the different projects to insert a fixed protocol here |
| 12   | | Put a copy of each study participant’s appointments in ORSEE (make sure to use “Experiments” other than the screening in order to make sure that everybody who is recruiting can not only see who has been screened, but also who participated when & in what WP of what project)|
